Eyebrows Vancouver

Imagine…waking up every morning to the eyebrows you’ve always dreamed of!

Microblading Eyebrows

The Technician uses a handheld tool that is dipped in pigment and with artistry and precision, etches tiny hairlike strokes into the brows. This lasts up to 1 -2 years for most people. This technique may not be suitable for aged or oily skin. A consultation is required as hair strokes can become blurred. The alternative choice would be the Powder Brow Technique.

Powder Brow

The Powder effect uses a pin-dot pigment application to re-create the flowless look of freshly applied make up you wear every day. This is a great technique for anyone wanting fuller looking brows or a more complete shape of their brows from head to tail. This technique is suitable for all skin types.

Ombre Powder Brow (Shaded Brow)

Ombre Brows have a more “filled-in look”, the healed results appear like softly shaded brow pencil or powder, except the head of the brow is applied using a light pigment with less saturation than the rest of the brow.

Combination Brow

A Combination of hair strokes and powder brows. Same pros as Ombre brows but less of a “light to dark” gradient look than Ombre brows. The Microblading at the head makes the brows look more natural. The powder effect is applied to the body of the brow using a permanent makeup device to give the brow it’s fullness. The Microblading effect is applied to the head of the brow and in the some instances a few hairs at the tail. Suitable for skin that heals well with microblading. (A more oily skin type)

Can I get microblading if I’ve previously had permanent makeup?

Yes. Microblading is the perfect option to create a more natural look for brows that have had previous permanent make-up (micro pigmentation) application. The existing pigment from permanent makeup gives a natural shadow for the fine microblading hair stokes applied on top.

Confused about the difference between microblading and permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup uses a series of needles and a rotary pen machine to implant pigment deep into the dermis.  With this technique, the eyebrow is filled in.

Microblading is where pigment is deposited closer to the skin’s surface.  A precision hand tool is used by the technician to create hair-like strokes as opposed to a solid line.  It is today’s popular choice due to its natural-looking results.

With both techniques, Avalon customizes the pigment and brow shape to suit your skin tone, hair colour, face shape and preference.
