Avalon Spa & Transformations – COVID-19 Protocols

Avalon Spa & Transformations is a sole proprietorship wellness centre which enables the owner/practitioner to ensure that sanitizing and disinfecting protocols are in place at all times.

In order to create the safest possible environment during the COVID pandemic, I have new policies and protocols that will be followed.

No one should enter the clinic if they are sick or show signs of communicable disease.

Treatment rooms will be thoroughly disinfected before and after each client.  This includes all high touch surfaces such as light switches, door handles and POS terminals  I also sanitize the entire treatment table surface, headrest/facepiece and all pillows used during treatments.

Please arrive on time if you are running late please text me.  Should you arrive early, please wait outside the door or in your vehicle until the previous client has left.  I will text or call you when your treatment room is ready.  If I am running behind I will make sure I give you plenty of notice via text or phone call (604 773 8472) I will buzz you into the building and meet you outside of the door at #303. You will be asked to remove your shoes once inside and I will then direct you to the hand sanitizing station.

Wearing a mask in public indoor settings is not required by public heath   The Provincial Health Office (PHO) recommends the use of medical masks by both RMT and patients when there is close, in-person patient/therapist contact.  As a healthcare professional I will be wearing a mask.  Should you want to wear a mask and forget one, I will have some non-medical grade face masks available.  If a treatment requires you to be face down you will not need to wear the mask at that time.  If the treatment is a facial or a procedure that involves the face, you will not need to wear a mask at the time of treatment.

Please print, read and sign the Patient Release Liability Waiver from the buttons on the right.

If you are sick, have been travelling, or have come into direct contact with someone who has been ill in the past 14 days, you will need to cancel your appointment. Appointments will be cancelled at the time of visit if a patient exhibits signs of illness or fever.
